Here are the top three takeaways from this week’s Gubernatorial debates between Doug Ducey and radical David Garcia.
1. Garcia has no education funding plan. Pressed repeatedly during the debates and by the media, the self-proclaimed “education expert” failed to articulate a single funding mechanism for our schools.
2. Garcia has no plan to grow the economy. When asked about how he would recruit jobs or businesses to Arizona, Garcia pivoted to more vague ideas about education – again, avoiding specifics.
3. Garcia doesn’t like being challenged. He was visibly irritated when questioned about his alignment with groups that attack law enforcement or his comments about getting rid of the wall in Southern Arizona (see: factcheckgarcia.com).
After two debates, it’s never been clearer Garcia lacks real policy ideas. For someone who’s been campaigning for over 17 months straight, “No-Plan” Garcia is showing he is not fit to lead.
