Once Again, Kirkpatrick’s Words Don’t Match Her Record
PHOENIX – Arizona Republican Party Chairman Robert Graham today again criticized Democratic Senate candidate Congresswoman Ann Kirkpatrick for presenting a false image of herself to voters.
In campaign ads, Kirkpatrick tells voters that she wants stop Congress from getting paid unless they can pass a balanced budget. Yet, on June 10, Ann Kirkpatrick voted against the Legislative Branch Appropriations Act, which will block an automatic congressional pay raise.
When Ann Kirkpatrick lost her reelection campaign in 2010 after her unpopular vote to create Obamacare, she spent over $100,000 of taxpayer money in her last two days in office on lavish staff bonuses.
“Lying isn’t a great way to introduce yourself to those you hope to represent, but that’s exactly what Ann Kirkpatrick has done,” said Arizona Republican Party Chairman Robert Graham. “Once again, Ann Kirkpatrick’s words don’t match her record.”
