PHOENIX– Funded by out-of-state donors and union bosses, the liberal trio of District 28 candidates Christine Marsh, Kelli Butler, and Aaron Lieberman, have misled Arizona families on critical issues and shown they cannot be trusted.
On Election Day eve, AZ GOP Chairman Jonathan Lines released the following statement condemning their dangerous ideas and hypocrisy:
“The trio of Democrat candidates in LD28 and their union bosses have done everything they can to hide their dangerous agenda, but voters need to know the truth:
Kelli Butler shamefully voted against Arizona teachers, opposing investment in our schools and higher pay for our educators.
Christine Marsh stands with Liberal David Garcia to support sanctuary cities and oppose a secure border, prohibiting federal and local law enforcement from working together to keep Arizona families and neighborhoods safe.
Meanwhile, Aaron Lieberman is making millions off of children and taxpayers from his for-profit education company, Acelero Learning. Acelero Learning was condemned by the Department of Health and Human Services for making an “excessive profit”, with Lieberman proudly declaring ‘he started Acelero as a for-profit in order to “do well” financially “and do good at the same time.”
And just in case anyone thought they might stick up for the business community, the entire trio supported a radical and deceptive scheme to double income taxes on Arizona families and small businesses.
Arizonans in Legislative District 28 deserve elected officials who will keep our families safe and support teacher pay raises, not representatives who profit from our kids and taxpayers. The Marsh, Butler and Lieberman trio cannot be trusted to stand up for our neighborhoods and have already shown their loyalty to big unions and the liberal establishment, not Arizona families. I urge voters in District 28 to reject these dangerous ideas – we can’t afford the liberal slate in 28.”
